The golf course's holes are designed along hillsides with wide fairways on a high plain, the spacious greens and the sneaky bunkers placed on strategic positions on the course make the Golf Club Tarvisio one of the most interesting mountainside golf courses, ideal for professionals and beginners.

Born out of a nine-hole course designed by Giacomo Cabrini, the course was redesigned and extended by the Canadian designer Graham Cooke. Today it presents itself with two very distinctive souls. The first part, which winds itself along the slopes of Mount Priesnig, challenges the golfers with more or less strenuous ups and downs while the second part from hole 10 to 18, which also contains some larger water obstacles, is laid out in a smoothly undulated plain.
